“Having heard about the wonderful work that the Arts Club does for the community, I stepped into the BMO Theatre Centre with great excitement for my internship with the Development team, and I am happy to report that my experience exceeded all expectations. In working with the Development department, I completed a wide range of tasks, such as writing grant applications, conducting research, and working on promotional material. In this way, I developed a diverse and transferable set of skills, which have allowed me to step into my academic, as well as professional, future, with more confidence and ease. “Working at the Arts Club was truly a fantastic experience. The environment is very special, and I loved coming to work every day and seeing all the wonderful staff, patrons, and volunteers. My time at the Arts Club has taught me what a supportive, creative, and inclusive environment can look like. Working in the Arts Club’s education department taught me how to plan and run arts and theatre related programming, for example, the Summer Workshop Series.
